“Welcome in July! As we step into the beginning of the summertime, an energetic and exuberant time of release and estivage; the heat builds, bodies twirl, school is out and we are looking back to the early summer gatherings of Black Girl Fight Club.   In the past, we’ve convened at several parks in NYC, to cultivate community and connect with others who embody the spirit of BGFC. We are returning to our roots and partnering with HELD to commune at Herbert Von King, for a free afternoon enjoying each other’s company, music, food, and new friends.  

BRING YOUR OWN EVERYTHING: blankets, snacks, games, etc., as an offering to share with the community.”
