DOWNSTAIRS: Fiber Night Crafty Bug Office Hours

Do you have the crafty bug? 🐛 Do you enjoy working with your hands? Have you always wanted to work with yarn but don’t know where to start? Good thing it’s almost Fiber Night… from crochet granny squares to knitted scarves & sweaters, Dr. Daisy will guide you through a number of lessons that will have you becoming a fiber warrior in no time!

Starting with Knitting Fundamentals, we will explore the basics of knitting any project: casting on, knitting, purling and binding off. Future lessons will include basics of crochet, hand making fingerless gloves, granny square bonnets, and scarf making! After the lesson at 6:30 there will be open office hours and a craft circle where we can all stitch and goss and help teach each other. Dr. Daisy will be available for questions about any project, troubleshooting, and general curiosities.

Bringing your own yarn and needles is encouraged, but supplies will be available first come first serve for yarn-curious folks without fiber. Lessons will build cumulatively but drop ins are allowed. All levels welcome, beginners very much encouraged!
