“Spring has sprung in New York City, so it’s time to assemble the family for a spring affair. Family Meal, the queer disco supper club & hospitality collective that celebrates the intersection of food, music, culture & nightlife, returns to C’mon Everybody on Sunday, May 3rd!
For our 5th edition, we’re unpacking our dainty picnic basket onto the dinner table and dance floor. This edition’s menu features reimagined picnic classics, including finger sandwiches, pinwheels, lemon sweets, and our signature crudite platter. Join us for dinner by Greg Lauro and the Rethink Food team (6–8PM, or until we run out), dessert by Joyah Dominique (7–9PM, or until we run out), music by our resident DJ LUVR, some groovy house and disco tunes from 7PM ‘til late, and hosted by Ryan Frostig all night long! Rooted in the tradition of the “family meal” shared by restaurant staff, we’re reimagining this sacred ritual through a queer lens, exploring new ways to practice innovation, especially at a time when costs are high and stock is scarce.
Our gracious partner, Rethink, is a non-profit whose purpose is to minimize food waste and end food insecurity in NYC. A portion of every ticket sold to each edition of Family Meal helps to support this incredible organization.”
