“Join Emily Chertow of Journaling Classes and intuitive artist Mack Huneke of Flower Cat for a one-of-a-kind evening weaving together journaling, astrology, tarot, and the wisdom of the four elements: Earth, Air, Fire, and Water, as welcome in the the Spring Equinox
The Spring Equinox marks a sacred turning point and a moment of equal light and dark, of balance, of emergence. Together, we’ll honor this threshold as we step into a new season of growth, clarity, and becoming.
This is an opportunity to immerse yourself in community, take deep care of yourself, and attune to the potent energetic gifts of early spring full of renewal, intention-setting, and the quiet courage it takes to begin again.
Through a series of guided practices, you’ll be invited to connect with your personal astrology chart, explore your elemental pull, and ground into creative rituals that align you with the season’s themes of rebirth and balance.
Together, we’ll co-create a communal altar, share reflections, and break into small groups to experience activities inspired by each of the four elements:
Air: a discussion-oriented, multi-perspective-driven exchange of ideas and fresh visions for the season ahead.
Earth: a hands-on, tactile practice using natural objects (sticks, stones, and found treasures) to anchor your intentions into form.
Fire: collective creation, tapping into inspiration, momentum, and the spark of new beginnings.
Water: intuitive tarot readings and journaling prompts to honor what is surfacing and soften into emotional renewal.
Throughout the evening, you’ll move between reflective journaling, collaborative crafting and collaging, community dialogue, and personalized readings — leaving with new insight, a grounded sense of your chart, and embodied ways to carry balance and intention into your spring season.
What to bring:
Three small objects from nature to contribute to our shared altar, your sweet self, and access to your birth chart (time/date/place of birth).
This workshop is for anyone longing to reset, reconnect, and step into spring with clarity, creativity, and community.
All sales are final. Please check your calendars prior to booking.
If the cost of the workshop is limiting you from attending, please reach out to me on Instagram (@journalingclasses). Without question or judgment, we will find something that aligns and works in accommodation.
