Join Open Book Club! We're reading Parable of the Sower by Octavia Butler and I booked out Von Bar for us to spend the night discussing it.
If it’s your first time, here’s how the meetings work:
You’ll come in, grab a glass of wine or a cocktail and a discussion guide. If the guides sound lame, I promise they’re not. This little bit of structure goes a long way to prompt thoughtful conversations.
You’ll sit down at a table with 4-5 other members and discuss. After around 30-45 minutes, we’ll rotate seats, so that you can meet all the other people at the meeting.
To keep the meetings small and intimate, I host multiple meetings a month. The discussion guides and format are the same both nights.
