“Join StoryTell and Stoop Stories for a very special intergenerational evening of connection through conversation and personal storytelling. We'll explore our perspectives, curiosities, and personal stories on the theme of "Love Thy Neighbor".
Do you have a neighbor that has changed your life? What was a recent connection you had with a neighbor and what did it mean to you? How has a neighbor shown up in your life in an unexpected way?
What to expect:
🗣️ Part conversation! In intergenerational pairs, we'll get to know each other's lived experience and learn stories of each others' beloved neighbors.
📖 Part storytelling! You'll have the opportunity to practice oral history skills and share your partner's personal story with the group.
This is a casual environment to share your story with a warm, open community in a "campfire stories" setting.
💖 All community. Come to build intergenerational connections through vulnerability, courage, and shared experience. You'll meet new open-minded, curious friends through deeper, intentional connection.
Your hosts: Rachel Saslaw & Marj Kleinman
Light snacks will be provided, but feel free to bring dinner or something more substantial to eat! Refreshment support is provided by CoGenerate.
Come join us on a journey in realizing that we're not alone in our human experience. You belong here, and we can't wait to see you.”
